Leading secular and religious voices have reached similar conclusions about the predicament of human societies in the early 21st century: that our social, political, economic, and environmental challenges all come from the same source and require humans to have a change of consciousness in order to survive. In an effort to address these challenges in their teaching and scholarship, a group of faculty from Jesuit colleges and universities have formed the AJCU Ecology Educators.
